Hey! My name is Padraig Haughton. I am a 21 year old videographer and editor from Connecticut. I am a current Senior at the University of Rhode Island. I have worked in sports video production for 4 years, creating content for different organizations. As soon as I picked up a camera and started taking videos of everything around me, something clicked and it wasn’t just the camera. I discovered a deep passion for capturing the emotion sports create, whether it’s a close-up revealing a player’s inner dialogue, a wide shot conveying the tension of a rivalry, or a coach’s fire expressed in the words of the moment. Sports are one of the most influential pastimes our society has to offer, and I consider it a privilege to capture something so powerful for a living.
